  1. Thanks, Matthew. I was just trying to post something during architecture week. The Sassone artwork that I posted in another thread deals more with the interior of a space, then the exterior. This painting by Chaney is obviously an external point of view. I have a painting of the courtyard of the Brulator mansion, as well.

  2. John Campbell I believe I saw that one. Very nice if I am thinking of the right thing.
BTW, the painting I bought from you arrived safely. You get A+ on your shipping skills.
I like it lots. I believe I read once that you had said you like to get lost in a painting, discover new things every time you look at it. (I am not using quotes on that one cause it isn't even a good paraphrasing, but you get the idea I am talking about.)
Just wanted to let you know that I can see where you were coming from with that one.

  3. Great. Glad you like it. Serendipitous too, since I just picked up another painting with a similar motif. A castle , or building across a lake, with rolling hills as a background. Two waterbirds swimming in the foreground, . And a person in a small boat off to the left of  the painting. So even though you got the Castle by the Loch painting (That's what I call it), karma seemed to bring me another one similar to it, but maybe a 100 years older. I'll post it sometime.  Only difference is that this new one is unframed.

  4. Looking forward to seeing it. I am happy for your good fortune on that.
I think I would rather have the boat than the frame. I can always get a frame, I can't add a boat. LOL
