  1. This Louise Brooks was very, very sexy. Very much a woman. Before you started posting about her, I had never heard of her, or seen her image.

  2. John Campbell I love Louise Brooks like no other actress. She had an unconventional beauty, dark, tinged with melancholy. I think that no face was more edgy in the decadent cinema . She has not been very lucky with the knowledge in the world of Hollywood, she has shone  for a short time in Germany, then she has been forgotten. She was an extrovert personality, but edgy and naive. I also will post images without her typical helmet hair. If you see Pandora's Box and after you will read 'The spirit of the heart , Pandora's Box' teatrical piece by Wedekind and Kraus, you'll be fascinated in a 'perverted' way ... a bit 'as Dorian Gray with Lord Wotton :-)

  3. Also very elegant, in a very statuesque sort of a way. Very strong presence, in the photos that I've seen you post of her. Thank you, Sereno, for sharing your passion for her. I may never have known about her without your posts.
