  3. That's because she looked different later, I will show you a picture in a moment. She was in "Father of the Bride" with Spencer Tracy.

  5. Frankly, I'm digging on the beautifully sweet smile and face, and shoes and socks. The first time I ever saw women with beautiful legs in heels and lacy short socks was in Paris, and the look just floored  me. Very sexy. The shoes and socks that this beautiful lady is wearing aren't as alluring as the lacy cuffed short socks, but they aint bad.

  6. I noticed the shoes and socks too John, they are very cute, and I wondered why we only put them on little girls these days. Perhaps we should bring back hats and this look for the feet.

  7. It's kind of sad to me,..cause looking at her cute face with that smile, makes me think of how later that she became a victim of Hollywood. I can see her as a young girl today very easily, that's just how she looks to me.

  8. Margaret, I would look. But, then again, I would look anyways.

  9. Joan had a sister that acted also, Constance Bennett.  Joan went for the brunette look because both were blonds and constantly getting mixed up. Not sure what you mean by a "victim" of hollywood, if you could expand on the statement I would like to know.

  10. Just looking at her there, and seeing how she changed over the years to look more competitive with other leading ladies,..that's all I meant on that. She just looks so innocent here.

  11. I  don't know matthew, we were all innocent looking when we were young. (Except for John Campbell I know his streak of naughty showed through even then.) And we change as we get older.
I also think this had to have been a publicity shot for a movie because the initials on her blouse do not match her name. So the innocence you see may have been the corruption of the woman, and not the other way around.

I do want to add, that I understand what you are saying and where you are coming from on your comment. I just like to be "Devils Advocate" on some statements and offer another way to look at a statement one of my 'besties' on here state. Makes people think and comment. : )
