The blonde schoolgirl in this scene is Patti Boyd, later to become Patti Harrison and after that Patti Clapton. She is the subject of the Beatles' "Something" as well as Eric Clapton's "Layla" and "Wonderful Tonight"~
John Kampsen It was quite a story..Eric was hopelessly smitten with his best friend (George)'s wife (Patti), and poured all his anguish into "Layla". George and Patti ended up splitting up, and she did wind up marrying Eric (sadly, their marriage ended several years later due to Eric's alcohol and drug abuse, which he has since recovered from. He is the founder of a drug rehab clinic called Crossroads, after the classic blues song covered by Cream). Despite all this, George and Eric remained best friends until George's death.
