Family Bicycle.

Family Bicycle... circa 1910. This is a really nice photo to be that old. I don't think that I would feel safe to have my baby riding like that,..out of my sight.

  1. Definitely not up to modern safety standards Matthew Woodall but a nice picture and a cool rig.

  4. Good Lord! Even back then people were stupid with their children! It doesn't look like the child is strapped in, and if it is it isn't a very substantial one.
I do like the photo however, the bike is very unusual, and it is a very good photo as Matthew's comment states, but Momma, where were your brains when Poppa told you to put the baby on that thing!

  5. you think that they could've at least put sides on the back to keep the baby from falling out.

  6. Cornering must have been dramatic. How did it steer?
