I wonder if there is a patent...of whatever this thing-a-ma-jig is suppose to be.

My Dad is nearing 80, a little deaf, & thinking of getting hearing aids. I'm hoping he goes for the portable ones.

    If this is a hearing aid, it looks more like it would b used as a body building machine by the user! LOL

    So here is my guess: an early WWII directional listening device. It looks like it is on a turret so it revolves around the signalman.

    No actual idea.

    PS. It looks like etchings of the globe on the dishes, so I would think this was NSA, CIA, or something like that. If I was guessing, which I am not. Just sayin.
