Huum, No I wouldn't actually call this one a Beehive. More likely a variation of the style. This outlandish hairdo was not the common everyday look. Falls more in line with the Mullet or the Mohawk. Trendy, attention grabbing at the time. I know they liked things like this in the south more than the north. Perhaps it was too windy up here for this kind of hair to survive. (Just my take on having been there)
