The Phantom Corsair is a prototype automobile built in 1938. It is a six-passenger 2-door sedan that was designed by Rust Heinz of the H. J. Heinz family. It was a marvel of futuristic design when it was shown publicly for the first time in 1938. From friend Carlo Martinello's posts.

    It is hard to imagine this car and a Model T Ford (1908 to 1927)  being just a couple decades apart.

    That's an eye opener statement Steve and very true indeed. The cars today are built for the wind and so was that one. The designer was on the right track at least. :-)

    Very sleek and mysterious looking. One could expect to see "The Shadow" driving this.
