I thought this short blog from Kovels(dot)com was right in keeping with the vintage postcards we are seeing today. Except for the fact that the writer of the piece has confused elves with leprechauns, it is a good (short) read and  tells us a thing or two about the imagery used way back when.

    ...and clearly there is a difference between elves and leprechauns. The Irish and Scottish know it too!
