When I look at this I'm reminded that the more things change, the more they stay the same. This could easily be a modern pic from Atlantic City uploaded as a B&W image to Instagram.
We think we are so modern and advanced but we simply refine old ideas.
As the saying goes, "Everything old is new again" I think it was from "Thoroughly modern Milly". It is the exact reason History needs to be remembered, because even history can repeat itself. The good Lord knows there are some horrible things in history that I do not wish to see repeated.
