Those girls probably ironed their hair on an ironing board. I had college friends who did that. Everyone wanted the Mary Travis look.
Charlotte Wirfs did they use hairspray too or did they just iron it?
Ironed it first using a low heat setting followed by hairspray. Yep, no matter the style, short, long, simple, or complicated...always hair spray.
