Under the Tree

As I climb a hill which buries the streets of a forgotten city, a person sits under a shade tree. It is the ancient, lost city of Kamiros, on the island of Rhodes. Some scholars think that the people of Kamiros abandoned their old gods, leaving to join communities of the new Christian god and demi-gods. But there is no record of this happening.

One has to wonder - where we are going...
